Seongyun Bang

Seong-Youn Bang is a senior professional with more than 26 years of experience across pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, domestic and international CROs, and academia. Her expertise spans new drug clinical development, global project management, and related regulatory and quality functions. She currently serves as President of TRIALIGN Consulting and as a Senior Consultant at YNB Partners, advising on clinical development and operational strategy for new drugs, as well as global regulatory and quality matters. Her key leadership roles have included Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Spark Biopharma, Head of Cell and Gene Therapy Development at GC Cell, and COO and Head of Drug Development at major biotechnology companies. She has also served as Country Head of PAREXEL International Korea and as Executive Vice President overseeing the Clinical Business Division at DreamCIS. In these positions, she played a central executive role in new drug and clinical development and clinical trial operations. From 2014 to 2020, she further strengthened her clinical trial expertise in healthcare and academia as Deputy Director of the Clinical Trial Center at CHA Bundang Medical Center and Associate Professor at CHA University.
