Pratima Jain

Pratima is a Learning Experience Designer who started out as a Pharma MBA graduate in 2016. She completed her Train the trainer in Krakow, Poland and served as the IPSF Training coordinator during her college. She was also active with IPSF as a trainer and delivered 20+ soft skills workshops to pharma students from around the world. Starting with little knowledge of corporate L&D in India, she found her ikigai in Instructional Design in TCS a few years later and has been developing learning programs since. She has also taught as visiting faculty and takes student workshops for her alma mater NMIMS Pharma College regularly. Along the way, she evolved from an instructional designer focused on content into a learning experience designer focused on people. Today, she works across multiple learning modalities, from live workshops to microlearning. She also champions the use of AI to make learning smarter, faster and more personal. Pratima believes the next generation of life sciences leaders will need more than technical expertise. They will need curiosity, adaptability and the habit of continuous learning, as science, regulation and technology keep changing. Her own path, from pharmacy classroom to marketing to learning design, reflects that belief. She is also a mother to a delightful 5 year old who is a constant inspiration to her learning design process, and has taught her more resilience and patience than most other events in life.
