Marjan Hummel, PhD, is Leader of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Philips, where she leads the centralized HEOR team supporting businesses and markets globally. She has over 20 years of experience in the assessment of health technology across academia and industry. Her experience spans the full innovation lifecycle, from early development to market introduction and routine use of health technologies. Across this lifecycle, she shapes evidence generation and dissemination strategies that support research & development, market access, reimbursement, and adoption of health technologies. She has a multidisciplinary background and holds a PhD in Medical Sciences.
