Kisha Bush

Kisha M. Bush, BS, EMBA is the Director of Patient & Site Engagement at Boehringer Ingelheim, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on enhancing patient participation, site collaboration, and representation across clinical research programs. In this role, she oversees cross-functional teams responsible for site engagement, patient recruitment and retention, and patient representation, driving innovative approaches that reduce barriers to clinical trial participation and improve research outcomes. With more than 24 years of experience in clinical research and clinical operations, Kisha has built a distinguished career leading complex clinical development programs, optimizing operational performance, and fostering strategic partnerships across sponsors, sites, CROs, and community organizations. Her expertise spans clinical trial execution, site management, regulatory operations, patient engagement, vendor oversight, and organizational transformation. Kisha holds an Executive MBA from the Howard University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections between patients, sites, and sponsors to advance more inclusive, accessible, and effective clinical research.
