UK Entity Director, Senior Data Protection Officer

Edward Sheehan is UK Entity Director and a Senior Data Protection Officer at MyData-TRUST, a data protection consultancy for the life sciences sector. Edward’s data protection experience covers several years of cross border projects through multiple jurisdictions, with a background in Chinese civil law, as well as UK and Irish common law. Prior to joining MyData-TRUST in the UK, Edward worked as a Data Protection Lawyer in Shanghai for several years prior to and following the introduction of the Personal Information Protection Law in China. Edward is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and holds the CIPM and CIPP/E certifications with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holds Good Clinical Practice (GCP) accreditation.
