Dr. Dipankar Das, PhD, FRSB Senior Director and Head-Biologics, USP India Pvt. Ltd Dr. Dipankar Das is the Senior Director and Head of Biologics at the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), India, where he leads the development of biologics standards, reference materials, and analytical solutions that support the quality and safety of biologic medicines worldwide. He also oversees USP’s biologics laboratory operations in Hyderabad. With over 27 years of experience in biopharmaceutical research, product development, CMC, and commercialization, Dipankar has held scientific and leadership positions in academia, vaccine manufacturing, and global standards development. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, completed postdoctoral research at the University of Alberta, Canada. He is also a CQI & IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. Dipankar has been inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB) and is an Affiliate Member, Royal Society of Chemistry, London. Dipankar has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, including articles in Nature and The Lancet, and has contributed to four book chapters. His work continues to advance global public health through innovation, quality, and standards for biologics and biopharmaceutical products.
