Strategic R&D and clinical development leader with 27 years of experience across the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and the Government of India. Experienced in building and scaling global R&D hubs, leading large multilayered teams, and delivering complex clinical development programs across North America, Europe, APAC, Middle East/Africa, and India.
Currently leading the creation of Sun Pharma’s first Development Centre of Excellence, overseeing all drug development functions including Clinical Operations, Global Trial Management, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Clinical Development, PK/Translational Medicine and Clinical Quality.
As General Secretary of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR) — India’s leading professional body for clinical research — I play a national leadership role in strengthening India’s clinical research ecosystem. I work closely with regulators, industry, academia, and patient groups to advance ethical, high quality clinical research, build capability across the country, and shape policy frameworks that enhance India’s global competitiveness in drug development.
