Senior Director & Head - Real World Programming

Abhishek Mishra is Senior Director and Head of Real-World Programming at GSK, with 20+ years in pharma R&D across biostatistics, clinical programming, and real-world data science. He leads a global RWE programming organization and has built the function into a Real-World data science, engineering and GenAI innovation leader, creating an ecosystem that lets multiple AI initiatives thrive. He has embedded CDISC standards and data engineering as first-mover capabilities, turning a traditional programming team into a globally integrated, submission-ready data science organization. Prior to GSK, he worked at Novo Nordisk and Pfizer. He holds a master's in statistics and an MBA and is active in PHUSE working groups within the RWD/E workstream.
