Patient Engagement in Economic Modelling: Bridging the Gap Between What’s Measured and What Matters
Tue, Nov 10, 2026 · 10:30–11:30 AM CET Hall G1, Level -2, Austria Center Vienna
About this session
PURPOSE: Patient engagement has been widely recognised as an important component of HEOR, yet its integration into economic model development remains variable. This session will demonstrate how early patient engagement can guide real-world evidence generation, challenge and/or redefine existing model concepts, and improve the relevance of economic evaluations for decision making, using choroidal melanoma as an illustrative example.
