From Principles to Practice: Preliminary Good Practice Recommendations from the Joint ISPOR-SMDM Model Validation II Task Force

About this session

Health economic models are widely used to inform healthcare reimbursement decisions and pricing negotiations, but in practice there is no consistent approach to validating them or reporting how validation has been conducted. While existing ISPOR-SMDM guidance highlights the importance of validation, so far this has not been consistently applied in research or economic evaluation of health technology.
