Metadata in the TMF SM V1

Part of Session 7, Track D & E: TMF Standard V1 (Chair: Jamie Toth, BeOne Medicines).

This session will provide a high-level overview of the metadata strategy for the TMF Standard Model V1, including the roles of Standard Metadata and Provisional Metadata within the evolving model. The discussion will highlight how the approach is designed to advance industry standardization while supporting practical, phased implementation and adoption.
The session will also introduce the addition of Zone 12 for eClinical Systems, highlighting how the new zone expands the model to better address records associated with the lifecycle and oversight of eClinical systems used in clinical research.
